The Woods Home

The Woods Home offers the perfect ski-in/ski-out location for any winter sport enthusiast. This house sits right on The Meadows ski slope, and offers the easiest access to one of Beech Mountain Resort's beginner slopes. For those who prefer to watch the action of the slopes, you are in luck, as this home has a great view of the skiiers/snowboarders passing by from the living room, dining area AND indoor hot tub room (hot tub available December 20 - March 15 Only). In the fall, spring and summer months, enjoy the beautiful slopeside scenry of this home, as well as its convenience to restaurants, Fred's General Mercantile, concerts, hiking and biking.

Home has 4 traditional bedrooms plus a loft, all featuring Queen beds. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a tv and DVD player and shares a full hall bath with Bedroom 2, which has a Smart tv. Bedroom 3 has cable tv and shares an adjoining bathroom with Bedroom 4. The final Queen bed is in the loft with a Smart tv. There is a tri-fold partition to provide extra privacy for this space.

Living room has beautiful stone-faced wood burning fireplace surrounded by ample sofa seating and flat-screen tv. Sliding glass doors and large windows allow for plenty of natural light during the day. Dining area has seating for 8 with additional seating at adjacent kitchen island. Behind the dining area is where you will find the hot tub room complete with full bath.  

*WINTER - This house has a 3 night minimum on the weekend running from Thursday - Sunday and a 4 night minimum mid-week running from Sunday - Thursday. Please call our office other booking arangements*

Note:
Here on Beech Mountain we have a great amount of snowfall from November through April.  You must be prepared with 4-wheel drive, studded snow tires or chains.  Chains can be purchased in the area in the event of a snowstorm during your vacation.
Renters are expected to provide toilet paper, paper towels, soaps/detergents, trash bags, baggies/foil/saran wrap, fire wood, etc. We provide: linens (1 set of sheets per bed, blankets, pillows), 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person based on occupancy of the property, a kitchen set of 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel, 1 dishwasher tab, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 small bar soap per bathroom and one roll of paper towels.

Hot Tub Maintenance: Prior to your arrival, we visit your rental and provide initial sanitizing for your hot tub. It is also on a weekly maintenance schedule. Please note that someone from the service company does stop by the home between Monday and Thursday to perform this work. When they arrive, they will knock on the door to introduce themselves. If no one answers, and access inside the home is required for the hot tub or breaker box, the maintenance providers will have a key and are authorized to enter the home. Since this maintenance is scheduled and required for the health and safety of our owners and renters, denying access when they arrive will result in direct billing to you for rescheduling. During your stay, the hot tub will also require daily maintenance on your part. A maintenance guide will be provided to you as part of your rental packet.

Parking for up to 5 cars in front of home. If you are bringing additional vehicles, these can be parked at the resort, or across from our rental office in the public parking lot.
